This portfolio seeks to add depth to my experience living with dyslexia. Most people assume dyslexia impairs one’s ability to read, write, and perform well in school.

I actually love to read, it just takes longer.

I see the world around me in abstraction.

Those with diverse learning needs are often reduced to the biases that exist within the educational system. However, through these paintings, I hope to reveal the multidimensionality of my personhood through the lens of my diagnosis of dyslexia.
