Every summer, I visit my mom's side of the family in a small town on the southern coast of Spain. This town is important as it reminds me of my loving family as well as the memories, culture, food, and peace that come along with being in Calahonda. When choosing the theme for my portfolio, I immediately wanted to portray something unique and meaningful to who I am. Calahonda is not only where I find my extended family but as I am half Spanish, it is also where I find part of myself. My portfolio questions "How can a significant place in your life remind you of what you love and prioritize?"
